FRSC Promotes 7,472 Personnel to Enhance Road Safety

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) approved the promotion of 7,472 personnel, consisting of 2,134 Officers and 5,338 Marshals, in a significant career progression exercise aimed at rewarding merit and strengthening professionalism. This initiative is part of FRSC's commitment to human capital development, recognizing the dedication and competence of personnel.

Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed described the promotion as a dual reward and responsibility, urging the newly promoted personnel to translate their new ranks into higher professionalism and accountability. He emphasized that the strength of FRSC lies in the quality and commitment of its personnel.

The promotion coincides with the Corps' efforts to enhance operational and public enlightenment initiatives to reduce road traffic crashes. Newly promoted personnel will be decorated by their respective Heads of Departments from August 26 to August 28, 2026, in line with the Administrative Instruction on Decoration of Newly Promoted Officers and Marshals.
