FRSC Promotes 104 Personnel in Ekiti, Warns Against Corruption

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Ekiti State Command has promoted and decorated 104 personnel, which includes 25 officers and 79 other ranks. The ceremonies took place at the Command Headquarters and various Unit Commands across Ekiti State.

Sector Commander Sanya Adeoye congratulated the newly promoted personnel and acknowledged the approval of their promotions by Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed. Adeoye urged the promoted personnel to demonstrate professionalism and dedication in their duties, emphasizing that the new ranks come with greater responsibilities.

He called on them to maintain discipline, reject corruption, and adhere to professional standards, aligning with the founding ideals of the FRSC. Adeoye also reminded them of the Corps’ core mandate to minimize road traffic crashes and promote a sustainable road safety culture.

He encouraged those not promoted to remain committed to their roles, assuring them that their time would come. Additionally, he appealed to motorists to obey traffic rules, especially as the ember months approach, which typically sees increased vehicular movement.
