GOC Babalola Urges Troops at FOB Imeko on Discipline

Major General Adebayo Abdulrahman Babalola, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 81 Division Nigerian Army, visited the Forward Operating Base (FOB) Imeko in Ogun State. During his visit, he charged the troops to remain vigilant, disciplined, and professional in discharging their constitutional responsibilities.

This visit was part of a familiarization tour within the 81 Division's area of responsibility, aimed at gaining firsthand knowledge of operational challenges and personnel welfare needs. Babalola commended the troops for their discipline and commitment to duty, noting positive feedback from Major Sy Tula, the officer commanding FOB, regarding the exemplary conduct of the troops.

He urged the personnel to uphold high standards and warned against misconduct, which could tarnish the image of the Nigerian Army. Additionally, Babalola paid a courtesy call on Oba Benjamin Alabi Oyeditan Olanit, seeking continued support from traditional institutions for military operations.

Earlier, he visited the headquarters of the 35 Artillery Brigade in Abeokuta to inspect operational and administrative facilities.
