GOC Babalola Warns Troops Against Indiscipline in Ogun

Major General Adebayo Abdulrahman Babalola, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 81 Division Nigerian Army, issued a stern warning to troops against extortion, harassment, and indiscipline during his operational visit to the Forward Operating Base (FOB) in Imeko, Ogun State. He emphasized the need for vigilance and professionalism in discharging constitutional duties, stating that any misconduct, including harassment of civilians or acts of indiscipline, would not be tolerated.

Major General Babalola commended the troops for their commitment to discipline and professionalism and urged them to sustain their momentum in safeguarding lives and protecting national assets. He also acknowledged the sacrifices made by the troops and reminded them of the Chief of Army Staff's command philosophy, which is anchored on five pillars of professionalism.

During the visit, he paid a courtesy call on Oba Benjamin Alabi Oyeditan and sought continued support from traditional institutions to enhance security within border communities. Additionally, he visited the headquarters of the 35 Artillery Brigade in Abeokuta to inspect operational and administrative facilities.
