Gombe Police Arrest Three for Armed Robbery and Theft

The Gombe State Police Command, through its spokesperson DSP Buhari Abdullahi, reported the arrest of three suspects involved in armed robbery and housebreaking. One suspect, Micah Nuhu, was apprehended following an attack on a woman named Mama Kingslei Joseph, who sustained grievous bodily harm.

The victim was taken to a hospital in Bambam for medical treatment. The case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for further investigation.

During the operation, two additional suspects, Nasiru Aminu (40) and Jamiu Muhammad (33), were arrested at a hideout in the Tumfur area of Akko Local Government Area. The police recovered 39 master keys and a screwdriver, which were believed to be used in housebreaking activities.

The suspects remain in custody and will be charged in court upon the conclusion of the investigation.
