Gombe Police Celebrates Youth Day with Tree Planting

The Gombe State Police Command marked this year’s International Youth Day with a tree-planting exercise aimed at promoting environmental sustainability and community development. The initiative was led by Commissioner of Police Umar Ahmed Chuso, who emphasized the connection between environmental responsibility and national security.

The three-day program involved police officers and young volunteers planting saplings at designated locations throughout the Gombe State capital. CP Chuso urged young people to adopt peaceful coexistence and environmental protection as vital aspects of responsible citizenship.

The Command expressed gratitude to youths, stakeholders, partners, and the public for their support during the celebrations.
