Goronyo Appointed ADC Campaign DG After PDP Resignation

Manir Muhammad Dan’Iya, the governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Sokoto State, appointed Muhammad Bello Aliyu Goronyo as the Director-General of his campaign organization for the 2027 election. This announcement was made in a statement on Monday by Dan’Iya's Media Aide, Aminu Abdullahi.

Goronyo, who recently resigned as the Sokoto PDP Chairman and requested the removal of his name from the party's membership register, is recognized as a seasoned civil servant and experienced politician. Dan’Iya emphasized Goronyo's extensive experience, including his tenure as a former Commissioner under ex-Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, as crucial for leading a successful campaign.

He expressed confidence that Goronyo would effectively unite the party's structures, enhance grassroots mobilization, and communicate the ADC's vision to the people of Sokoto. Dan’Iya urged all party members and supporters to cooperate with Goronyo to ensure the success of the 2027 campaign, highlighting the need for unity, discipline, and collective responsibility.
