G15 Coalition Declares AbdulRazaq a Minority in APC

The G15 Coalition has publicly stated that Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is no longer enjoying significant support within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State. This declaration was made during a solidarity walk in Ilorin, attended by thousands of party supporters.

The coalition, which consists of ten gubernatorial aspirants from the last APC primaries, criticized AbdulRazaq for failing to uphold the principles of unity and progress established during the Otog movement that brought the APC to power in Kwara State in 2019. They argue that the party has become increasingly divided under his administration, with decision-making concentrated in the hands of a few.

The coalition issued a statement following a recent meeting with senior APC stakeholders in Abuja, emphasizing the need for inclusivity and democratic processes in the party ahead of the 2027 elections. They presented a 10-point demand, including rejecting flawed party primaries and ensuring fair representation within the party.
