Governor Yusuf Condemns Bandit Attacks in Kano LGAs

Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, condemned the recent bandit attacks in four Local Government Areas: Chiromawa in Garun Mallam, Beli in Rogo, Bebeji, and communities around Gwarzo. In a statement from his spokesman, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, Yusuf expressed sympathy for the victims and their families, labeling the attacks as deeply disturbing and unacceptable.

He assured the affected communities that his administration is implementing measures to strengthen security and protect lives and property. The governor directed relevant authorities to enhance surveillance, intelligence gathering, and rapid response mechanisms in the impacted areas.

He urged residents to remain calm, avoid actions that could escalate tensions, and cooperate with security personnel by providing credible information. Yusuf commended security forces for their efforts and called for sustained intelligence-led operations to safeguard vulnerable communities.

He also prayed for the deceased, wished for the speedy recovery of the injured, and emphasized his administration's commitment to ensuring peace and security across Kano State.
