Kano Governor Yusuf Condemns Bandit Attacks in LGAs

Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf condemned recent bandit attacks in four local government areas, including Chiromawa in Garun Mallam, Beli in Rogo, Bebeji, and communities around Gwarzo. His spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, issued a statement on Tuesday detailing the governor's response.

Governor Yusuf expressed sympathy for the victims and their families, labeling the attacks as deeply disturbing and unacceptable. He assured residents that his administration would collaborate with security agencies to prevent further incidents and restore confidence in the affected communities.

The governor directed relevant authorities to enhance surveillance, intelligence gathering, and rapid response operations in the impacted areas. He urged residents to remain calm, avoid actions that could escalate tensions, and cooperate with security personnel by providing credible information.

Governor Yusuf commended security forces for their efforts and called for continued intelligence-led operations to protect vulnerable communities. He prayed for the deceased, wished the injured a speedy recovery, and called for the safe return of any abducted individuals.
