Gov's Wife Urges Boys to Avoid Cybercrime at Workshop

Ibijok Sanwo-Olu, the wife of the Lagos State Governor, encouraged young boys to shun cybercrime and embrace positive values during a workshop held at St. Gregory's College.

She highlighted the increasing exposure of youth to digital platforms and the need for stronger moral guidance and mentorship to combat peer pressure and the allure of quick money. The workshop, themed "Re-orient Boys to Become Ambassadors," stressed the importance of character, self-discipline, and positive social behavior.

Sanwo-Olu noted that true leadership begins with making courageous decisions, even under pressure. She lamented the insufficient guidance boys receive compared to the advocacy for girls, emphasizing the need for equal support for both genders.

The workshop provided a unique opportunity for boys to learn and grow, aiming to help them discover their full potential and become responsible individuals. The Deputy Governor, Oluremi Hamzat, also advised participants to embrace lessons from their experiences.
