Hask Declares for 2027 Adamawa Governorship Race

Abdulrahman Bashir Hask has officially declared his intention to run for the 2027 Adamawa State governorship election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The declaration will be marked by a rally scheduled for April 25, 2026, at Mahmud Ribadu Square in Yola, which is expected to attract approximately 50,000 political stakeholders and supporters from across the state.

The event will feature endorsements from APC leaders, members, and various political allies, including support groups focused on women and youth. Hask's governance agenda, termed the "Adamawa RSE Agenda," aims to address pressing challenges in the state, including a 75.4% poverty rate and 87% dependence on federal allocations, while also tackling escalating youth unemployment.
