Bode George to Sue Wike Over Corruption Allegations

Chief Bode George, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has announced his intention to take legal action against Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), over allegations that George's Abuja residence was acquired using funds from Rivers State. Wike had previously described George as the “father of corruption” during a media briefing, asserting that George's Maitama property was financed with Rivers State money.

In response, George dismissed Wike's accusations as false and baseless, stating that the property was legitimately purchased from a retired civil servant through an agent. He emphasized that he has no political or financial ties to Rivers State and challenged Wike to prove his claims in court.

Additionally, George criticized Wike's behavior, suggesting he should be taken to a psychiatric hospital, and urged President Bola Tinubu to distance himself from political allies who resort to personal attacks.
