Wike Accuses Bode George of Corruption in Abuja

On Tuesday, Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, publicly accused Bode George, a prominent chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), of being the "father of corruption." During a media interaction with selected journalists, Wike alleged that George's residence in Maitama, Abuja, was constructed using funds from Rivers State. Anytime he loses, he will be calling judiciary corrupt, meanwhile he’s the father of corruption.” He challenged George to refute his claims, asserting, “Even the house he’s staying in at Maitama, Abuja is Rivers State’s money. I say so.
