Health Workers Urge CMD Ogundip to Prioritize Quality Care

Health workers in Ekiti State have called on the newly appointed Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the tertiary health facility, Prof. Kolawole Ogundip, to prioritize quality in healthcare delivery.

This appeal was made by Fethi Oladeji, the Chairman of the Joint Health Sector Union (JOHESU), and John Akinola, the Secretary, in a congratulatory message following Ogundip's appointment by President Bola Tinubu. They expressed confidence in Ogundip's capabilities, citing his wealth of experience and wisdom, which they believe will elevate healthcare standards in the state.

They emphasized that Ogundip's leadership will significantly impact the future of healthcare in Ekiti State, leaving a lasting legacy. The previous CMD, Prof.

Adekunle Ajayi, completed two terms and left office in December 2025. The health workers expressed their readiness to collaborate with Ogundip to enhance the quality of healthcare services in the region.
