JOHESU Supports Prof. Ogundip as New CMD of FETHI

The Joint Health Sector Union (JOHESU) has publicly endorsed the appointment of Prof. Kolawole Ogundip as the new Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the Federal Teaching Hospital, Ido Ekiti (FETHI).

This appointment was approved by President Bola Tinubu. Prof.

Ogundip, who previously served as a consultant in plastic and reconstructive surgery and was the former CMD of the Afe Babalola University Multi-System Hospital, is expected to elevate healthcare standards in Ekiti State. JOHESU Chairman FETHI Oladeji Akinola and Secretary John Akinola conveyed their congratulations, expressing confidence in Ogundip's extensive experience and wisdom to enhance healthcare delivery.

They highlighted the importance of his leadership in shaping the future of healthcare in the state. Prof.

Ogundip succeeds Prof. Adekunle Ajayi, who completed two terms in hospital administration, with Dr.

Olagok Erinmop acting as CMD until Ogundip's official resumption.
