House of Representatives Summons NSA Over Fake Agency

The Ad hoc committee of the House of Representatives is investigating the unestablished Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council (PFIPC) and has summoned the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) for clarification. This action follows submissions by Dr.

Dunoma Umar Ahmed, Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who indicated that the Ministry had contacted the ONSA on October 16, 2025, regarding the status of Prince Adeyemi as Director-General of the PFIPC. Committee Chairman Yusuf Gagdi expressed concern over the revelation that the ONSA was established in November 2025, yet the alleged Director-General and the purported council were not recognized.

Gagdi stated that it is the committee's responsibility to investigate further and emphasized the importance of the NSA's appearance before the committee to address questions about the agency's legitimacy and any potential discrepancies.
