Activist Justice Crack Alleges Torture by DSS Operatives

Justice Mark Chidieber, popularly known as Justice Crack, detailed his experience of alleged abduction and torture by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS). He claimed that he was taken on April 30th, 2026, by individuals posing as DSS officials, who later revealed their true identities.

During his three-day detention, he was blindfolded, handcuffed, and subjected to inhumane treatment, including being kept in extreme conditions. Justice Crack stated that he was given his first proper meal after being taken to a medical unit for health checks.

He noted that while the DSS officials treated him with professionalism and respect during his time at their facility, he emphasized the need for improvements in the agency's investigative processes and overall treatment of detainees. His account surfaced shortly after his release, coinciding with public outrage over the treatment of soldiers in Nigeria, highlighting ongoing concerns regarding human rights and accountability within security agencies.
