Justice Crack Shares Experience with DSS Detention

Justice Crack, also known as Chidieber Justic Mark, shared his experience with the Department of State Services (DSS) on the night of April 30th. He was initially blindfolded and held by unidentified men claiming to be DSS officials, later confirmed not to be.

Upon arrival at the DSS facility, he was instructed to keep his blindfold on until inside, where it was removed, allowing him to see clearly for the first time. He described feeling traumatized and confused but was treated with professionalism and respect by the DSS officials.

During his detention, he received food and medical attention, including a check on his blood pressure and general health. He was provided with a bed and duvet, allowing him to sleep comfortably.

The following morning, an investigative team began questioning him. Justice Crack noted that while no institution is perfect, he credited the DSS for their professional handling of the situation, despite acknowledging areas for improvement in the speed of investigations and administrative processes.
