Kano Tech Hub Launches Inclusive AI Education Program

ENGAUSA Global Tech Hub is driving inclusion in AI education in Kano, challenging the notion that success in the AI economy requires formal education or renowned tech hubs. The hub recently hosted its Startup Friday programme at the Technology Incubation Centre, where it launched internationally recognized Artificial Intelligence certifications through a partnership with AI CERTs, New York.

This collaboration positions ENGAUSA as a leading institution in Northern Nigeria for globally recognized AI certification programs. Yash Nanda, representing AI CERTs, emphasized the significance of accessible AI education for Africa's digital transformation.

The event also marked the graduation of the first cohort of AI CERTs-certified trainers and learners. Mustapha Ringim, CEO of ENGAUSA, stated the partnership aims to ensure Nigerian youths, regardless of background, become innovators in the AI revolution.

The graduates were celebrated as “ENGAUSA VIPs” to reflect the organization's philosophy that ability should outweigh disability.
