Kano Governor Yusuf Commits to Education Investment

On Wednesday, Kano State Governor Yusuf reaffirmed his administration's commitment to prioritizing human capital development through increased investment in education, skills acquisition, youth empowerment, and job creation. This pledge was made during the inauguration of the Inter-Agency Task Force on Drug Abuse and Trafficking at the Ante Chamber of the Government House, Kano.

According to a statement from Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the Director-General of Media and Publicity at the Government House, Governor Yusuf stated that the focus on human capital development aims to equip young people with essential knowledge, practical skills, and economic opportunities for self-reliance. He emphasized that addressing drug abuse and social vices requires more than enforcement, advocating for investment in education and vocational training.

The governor noted that such investments would create employment opportunities, reduce idleness, and strengthen the state's economy. He expressed gratitude to the residents for their support and urged them to continue backing his administration's initiatives for inclusive development and economic growth.
