NAFRC Enhances Entrepreneurship Training for Military Officers

The Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre (NAFRC) in Oshodi, Lagos, is intensifying its entrepreneurship training for military personnel to facilitate their transition to civilian life. This initiative was marked by the inauguration of the Senior Mid-Level Officers Entrepreneurship Management Course 18/2026, aimed at equipping military officers with essential management skills.

Air Vice Marshal Nnaemeka Ignatius Ilo, who presided over the event, emphasized the importance of innovative leadership and business education for successful civilian transitions. The course, organized in partnership with the Empretec Nigeria Foundation, is designed to address the challenges faced by retiring military personnel, particularly in achieving financial stability.

The program received support from key military and political leaders, including Chief of Defence Staff and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who acknowledged the need for resources to facilitate this training. The initiative represents a broader effort to redefine retirement preparation for military personnel in Nigeria, focusing on entrepreneurship as a viable path post-service.
