Twins Secure NNPC Jobs Without Connections

Identical twins Hussaini and Hassan Malami shared their experience of securing jobs at the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) without any personal connections. They are part of the NNPC Tigers Class of 2026.

Hussaini had always aspired to work at NNPC and encouraged Hassan to apply, despite Hassan's initial reluctance due to the belief that NNPC typically hires only one person from a family. Hassan had considered joining the Nigerian Air Force and was already employed in the banking sector, influenced by the unsuccessful applications of three older siblings to NNPC.

Ultimately, he submitted his application close to the deadline after Hussaini's encouragement. Both twins took the computer-based recruitment test on the same day but in different locations, with Hussaini testing in Sokoto and Hassan in Kaduna.

Their story was shared in a statement by Adaobi Oniwinde, Senior Communications Advisor at NNPC Limited.
