Nigerian Twins Secure Jobs at NNPC Against All Odds

Identical twins Hussaini and Hassan Malami have successfully secured employment with the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) as members of the NNPC Tigers Class of 2026. Hussaini, who aspired to work with NNPC, encouraged his twin brother Hassan to apply, despite Hassan's initial reluctance due to a misconception that NNPC only hired one person per family and his preference for joining the Nigerian Air Force.

After persistent encouragement, Hassan applied just before the deadline. Both brothers took the computer-based recruitment test on the same day but in different locations, with Hussaini in Sokoto and Hassan in Kaduna.

They received their employment letters on the same day, with Hussaini joining NNPC Exploration & Production Limited and Hassan joining NNPC Gas Infrastructure Company. Hassan expressed newfound knowledge about Nigeria's gas industry, while Hussaini aims to contribute to the energy sector's development and hopes to become a guest lecturer in the future.
