Senator Yayi Thanks Tinubu After APC Guber Candidacy

Senator Solomon Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, has publicly thanked President Bola Tinubu and other party leaders after being named the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate for Ogun State. In a post shared on his Facebook page on Tuesday, Adeola described the endorsement as a humbling honor that he does not take for granted.

He acknowledged the support from Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun and elder statesman Segun Osoba, highlighting their guidance and confidence in his candidacy. Adeola committed to fully embracing the ideals of the APC and ensuring a successful campaign aimed at achieving victory in the 2027 elections.

His emergence as the candidate followed a consensus decision made during a caucus meeting held at the party's secretariat in Abeokuta.
