Melaye Confident of Defeating Tinubu in Fair Election

Dino Melaye, the former Kogi West senator and presidential candidate for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), asserted in a recent interview that he would defeat President Bola Tinubu in a fair election. Melaye emphasized that any ADC candidate would perform better than Tinubu, highlighting the need for a united opposition front to challenge the current administration.

He criticized the lack of transparency in the electoral process, alleging that non-elected individuals, including Tinubu's son, Seyi Tinubu, exert undue influence over governance. Melaye referenced Nobel laureate Wole Soyinka's remarks about the growing visibility of non-elected actors in politics.
