Violence Erupts at APC Congress; Ibori Suenu Escapes Unhurt

During an APC congress scheduled for Saturday at Oghara Township Stadium in Ethiope West, Delta State, Ibori Suenu, the daughter of former Delta State Governor James Onanefe Ibori, escaped unharmed as violence erupted. The congress was disrupted shortly after her arrival, with allegations of attacks by suspected thugs on party members, resulting in several injuries.

Those injured were reportedly taken to the hospital for treatment. Ibori Suenu expressed concerns over security, stating that she was prevented from accessing the congress grounds amid safety threats.
