IFMA Nigeria Launches Oyo State Branch to Boost FM

The International Facility Management Association (IFMA) Nigeria inaugurated its Oyo State branch, marking a significant milestone in advancing facility management practices in the southwest region of Nigeria. The ceremony took place at the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) secretariat in Akobo, Ibadan, and was attended by members of the IFMA national executive council and various professional stakeholders.

Engr. Sheriff Daramola, President of IFMA Nigeria, expressed delight at the successful inauguration and commended members for their commitment to the growth of facility management in Nigeria. He highlighted IFMA's global heritage, noting its support for 25,000 members across 140 countries, and emphasized the association's strong global network.

The newly established Oyo branch will be led by a dedicated committee tasked with upholding global facility management standards. The executive committee includes ESV Adejumo Olusola Babatund as Coordinator, Engr. Ajiboy Olusola Akeem as Secretary, and Mr. Adeniran Olaid as Treasurer.

The branch aims to contribute to Nigeria's economic landscape and sustain capacity-building initiatives, including training 3,000 members nationwide.
