Ijaw Youths Support Digital Reforms in Civil Service

The Coalition of Ijaw Youth (CJY) in the Niger Delta has called on Nigerians to support the ongoing digital transformation of the Federal Civil Service, emphasizing the need to ignore distractions from recent developments regarding the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC). The introduction of the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) System, GovMail, and the 1-GOV Cloud Platform is noted to facilitate Nigeria's transition to a paperless Civil Service, improve service delivery, and reduce bureaucratic bottlenecks.

The coalition argues that these reforms enhance document management and accountability, and they urge the Federal Government to expedite the nationwide rollout of digital governance initiatives to restore public confidence in government institutions.
