PDP Challenges INEC for Credible Elections in Imo State

Prince Cal Ugochukwu Nwokoma, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) State Vice Chairman for Orlu Zone in Imo State, has challenged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to prepare for credible elections in the state. Following the recent uploading of the PDP's list of candidates by INEC, Nwokoma stated that any election deemed not credible would be rejected by the populace.

He asserted that the PDP remains united and is one of Nigeria's strongest opposition parties, ready to protest against INEC if necessary. Nwokoma expressed confidence that with a credible election in 2027, the PDP would emerge victorious.

He highlighted the party's grassroots efforts to engage voters and emphasized the strength of their senatorial candidates, including former Deputy Governor Prince Eze Madumere, Hon. Jones Onyereri, and Chief Mike Ejiogu. He also affirmed the capability of their presidential candidate, Prof. Andy Onor, and stated that the PDP would accept results from a fair election, dismissing the influence of incumbency.
