FUTO VC Prof Dozie Commits to Media Collaboration

Prof Ikechukwu N.S. Dozie, the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO), assured members of the Correspondents’ Chapel, Imo state council, of his administration's commitment to maintaining a collaborative relationship.

This assurance was given during a courtesy visit by chapel members. Prof Dozie emphasized his intention to uphold the positive rapport established by his predecessors, recognizing the chapel as critical stakeholders in the university's operations.

He disclosed that he has begun strategic engagements with various stakeholders, including the Senate, staff unions, parents, students, and host communities, to assess the current situation at the university. His overarching goal is to ensure the growth and development of FUTO, which he described as deserving the best as the only federal university of technology in the South East and South South regions.

Comrade Chinazo Ilechukwu, Chairman of the Correspondents’ Chapel, expressed their congratulations and willingness to collaborate with the Vice Chancellor.
