INEC Registers 131,165 New Voters in Edo State

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced the registration of 131,165 new voters in Edo State following the completion of the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise conducted from August 2025 to July 2026. Owan West Local Government Area recorded the lowest number of new registrations with 3,393 voters, while Ovia North East had the highest with 11,613 new voters. Oredo Local Government Area registered 9,544 new voters.

The INEC State Office itself recorded the highest number of new registrations, totaling 11,747 voters.
