Kano Government to Install Toll Gates for Enhanced Security

The Kano State Government, under the leadership of Governor Ibrahim Yakubu Adamu, is set to install toll gates at seven strategic locations across the state to enhance security measures. This initiative was communicated through a statement by Malam Adamu Abdullahi, the Director of Public Enlightenment in the Ministry of Public Development.

The proposed locations for the toll gates include Daura Road, Katsina Road, Gwarzo Road, Zaria Road, Maiduguri Road, Hadejia Road, and Sa Adatu Rimi. The government emphasizes its determination to improve security architecture and the socio-economic status of the state while adequately monitoring vehicular movement.

Adamu urged contractors to ensure the timely completion of the project. The handover ceremony for the project took place at the seven designated sites, with Dr.

Nura Ma Aji, the Commissioner for Public Works, highlighting the occasion and the importance of the initiative for the state's infrastructure development.
