Kano State to Build Seven Toll Gates for Security Boost

The Kano State Government has announced plans to construct seven toll gates in strategic locations as part of efforts to enhance security across the state. Ibrahim Adamu, the commissioner for housing development, revealed this initiative in a statement signed by Adamu Abdullahi, the director of public enlightenment.

The proposed locations for the toll gates include Daura Road, Katsina Road, Gwarzo Road, Zaria Road, Maiduguri Road, Hadejia Road, and Adatu Rimi. The government emphasizes its commitment to strengthening the state's security infrastructure and improving socio-economic conditions.

The commission has urged contractors to complete the project within the stipulated timeframe as per the contractual agreement. A handover ceremony was held at the seven project sites, attended by Marwan Ahm, the commission's work infrastructure, and Dr.

Nura Ma Aji, who represented the public procurement ministry.
