IPOB Rejects Ejiofor's Reinstatement as Kanu's Lawyer

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has stated that the attempt to reinstate Ifeanyi Ejiofor as the external solicitor for Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has failed. IPOB's spokesperson, Emma Powerful, labeled Ejiofor's claims of reinstatement as “dead on arrival” and a “worthless piece of paper,” asserting that the letter he cited was signed by expelled members of the organization.

Powerful emphasized that Kanu, as the Supreme Leader of IPOB, holds the exclusive authority to appoint or dismiss legal representatives and has not delegated such powers regarding Ejiofor. He reiterated that Ejiofor is permanently disengaged from IPOB and is not permitted to represent Kanu or the organization in any legal matters.

Powerful also warned Ejiofor to review the IPOB Code of Conduct before further actions, stating that expelled individuals cannot appoint representatives for the organization. IPOB is prepared to confront Ejiofor in court regarding the legitimacy of his claims.
