Aproko Doctor Warns of Cancer Symptoms After Ogogo's Death

Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, passed away at the age of 66 on Sunday, August 23, 2026, after battling cancer. His family revealed his condition only days before his death, surprising many who had seen him in good health weeks prior.

In response to his passing, health educator Aproko Doctor addressed the public on X, explaining that serious illnesses like certain cancers can develop silently, often presenting symptoms similar to less severe ailments such as ulcers. He highlighted that symptoms like persistent stomach pain, unexplained weight loss, repeated vomiting, loss of appetite, difficulty swallowing, and early satiety should not be ignored, although they do not necessarily indicate cancer.

Aproko Doctor urged the public to seek professional medical advice rather than self-diagnosing. He concluded his message with condolences to Ogogo's family, acknowledging the widespread grief felt across Nigeria.

Ogogo's burial took place in his hometown of Ilaro, in accordance with Islamic rites.
