Nollywood Star Princess Chineke Encourages Army Enlistment

Princess Chineke, a former Nollywood star and beauty queen, is advocating for Nigerians to join the US Army, sharing her experiences through a video on her Instagram account. She plans to enlist in 2024, marking a significant transition as she aims to change her perspective on life after a successful career in entertainment.

Raised in Imo State and Udi, Enugu State, Princess graduated from the University of Benin with a degree in Computer Science. She gained fame by winning the Miss Uniben pageant and has worked with major brands like Samsung and Maggi.

Despite her success in Nollywood, she decided to relocate to the United States to further her education and acquire new skills. In a 2025 interview, she acknowledged that the transition has not been easy and that she sometimes misses her previous life in the entertainment industry.

Princess Chineke is among a growing number of Nigerian celebrities who are leaving the limelight for military life.
