Benue Governor Alia's Aide Resigns After Meeting SGF

Atu Terver Joseph, a special assistant for youth media mobilization to Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia, resigned just hours after a meeting with the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume. Joseph publicly disclosed his resignation in a letter addressed to the Secretary of the Benue State Government, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to serve in the administration.

He did not disclose the reasons behind his decision to leave office, which has drawn attention, particularly following his meeting with Akume, who praised him on his official Facebook page. During the meeting, Akume commended Joseph for his contributions and expressed warm reception towards him.

The resignation occurred on June 12, coinciding with a significant visit to the Secretary, which Joseph described as a moment of elevation and honor.
