Kebbi Senator Garba Maidoki Defects to ADC from APC

Senator Garba Maidoki, representing Kebbi South Senatorial District, announced his defection from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) on Tuesday. He communicated his decision through a letter read on the Senate floor by Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin.

Maidoki's defection is attributed to perceived injustices and ongoing internal crises within the APC. He expressed concerns that the APC has not lived up to its slogan of "justice, peace, and unity," particularly in Kebbi State, especially following the recent primary elections.

Maidoki believes that the ADC will better serve the political aspirations of his constituents and the larger interests of Nigeria.
