Uba Sani Distributes Free Fertilizers to Farmers in Kaduna

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has actively pursued his campaign promises through the SUSTAIN Agenda, which includes initiatives for safety, infrastructure, and agriculture. On July 25, he launched the distribution of 500 trucks of free fertilizers and agricultural mechanization equipment to 150,000 small-holder farmers across the 23 Local Government Areas.

This initiative follows previous distributions of 500 trucks in 2024 and 400 trucks in 2025, reflecting a significant increase in the agriculture budget from N1.48 billion in 2023 to over N100 billion this year. Sani's administration aims to revolutionize agriculture and uplift rural communities.

Additionally, he has made strides in financial inclusion, revenue generation, and security, notably through the recruitment of 7,000 youth into the State Vigilante Service and enhancing local security capabilities. His administration has successfully restored the operational status of markets in areas previously affected by banditry, such as Birnin-Gwari and Giwa LGAs.
