Kaduna Police Confirm Bus Explosion Caused by Gas Tank

On Sunday, at approximately 3 AM, an explosion occurred at a motor park in Kaduna State, involving a luxury bus belonging to Silver Luxury Travel. The Kaduna State Police Command, through DSP Mansir Hassan, clarified that preliminary investigations indicated the explosion was not caused by an explosive device but rather resulted from an overfilled gas tank.

Following the loud blast, police were immediately deployed to the scene to ensure public safety and evacuate the affected vehicle to a safe location. Commissioner of Police Muhammad Rabiu has ordered a full investigation into the incident to ascertain the exact circumstances surrounding the explosion and to prevent future occurrences.

The police reassured the public that there was no security threat linked to the incident and urged members of the public to verify information before dissemination to avoid unnecessary panic.
