Kaduna Builds Ultra-Modern Bus Terminal to Boost Transport

Inuwa Ibrahim, the acting General Manager of Kaduna Line and Acting Director-General of the Kaduna State Transport Regulatory Authority (KADSTRA), announced this during a project inspection in Kaduna. The terminal, located in Millennium City and constructed by CGC Nigeria Ltd. on a 20-hectare site, will be the largest ultra-modern transport terminal in sub-Saharan West Africa.
It will include ticketing halls, spacious waiting lounges, multiple boarding terminals, a hotel, restaurants, and CNG filling stations. Construction began about four months ago, and completion is expected within the next three months, with an inauguration planned by Governor Uba Sani.
Mr. Ji Zhongyin, Project Manager of CGC Nigeria Ltd., stated that major structural works are complete, with finishing works and safety equipment installation to follow.
The Uba Sani administration is also reforming Kaduna's transport system to improve security and urban planning.
