Jaba LGA Hosts Security Summit for Peace in Kaduna

The Jaba Local Government Area in Kaduna State organized a peace and security summit aimed at fostering coexistence among the community's farmers, herders, and youth. The event, themed "Bridging Divides to Unite Farmers, Herders, and Youth for a Prosperous Community," took place at the Rakiya Event Centre in Kwoi.

Kaduna State Governor Senator Uba Sani commended the chairman of Jaba Local Government Area, Mr. Larai Sylvia Ishaku, for organizing the event.

He was represented by Alhaji Danlami Adamu, the Special Adviser on Peace and Conflict Resolution. Governor Sani urged attendees to prioritize humanity over tribal and religious identities and to respect one another to achieve lasting peace.

Hon. Henri Marah, a member of the House of Assembly representing Jaba constituency, advised participants to avoid taking the law into their own hands and to report any wrongdoing to the appropriate authorities.

He acknowledged that while the summit was a step towards peace, the community still faces security challenges.
