PDP Candidate Bawa Condemns Kaduna Killings, Urges Action

Hon. Usman Shehu Bawa (ABG), the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Kaduna State, condemned the killing of 30 residents in Naridon community, Kauru Local Government Area.

In a statement issued on Monday, he described the attack as horrific and demanded urgent action from government and security agencies. Bawa expressed shock over the midnight assault, which resulted in the deaths of innocent men, women, and children, alongside the destruction of homes and displacement of families.

He emphasized that the killings were senseless and an assault on the collective humanity of Nigerians. Bawa called for the Federal Government and Kaduna State Government to take concrete steps to prevent further violence, including deploying additional security personnel to vulnerable communities.

He also demanded a thorough investigation into the killings and urged for humanitarian support for survivors and displaced families. Bawa advocated for strengthening community-based security structures and enhancing local intelligence gathering to improve safety in rural areas.
