Rep. Raises Alarm Over Terrorist Takeover of Kainji National Park

A member of the House of Representatives representing Borgu-Agwara constituency has alerted the public to the infiltration of terrorists in Kainji National Park, Nigeria. Recent attacks by bandits have led to the displacement of park rangers and the seizure of administrative offices.

The lawmaker highlighted incidents such as the abduction of students and teachers from a school in Papiri Agwara. Urgent military intervention is requested to establish a forward operating base in the area.

The lawmaker also appealed to national leader Bola Tinubu to intervene in the crisis to prevent further escalation.
