Orji Uzor Kalu Mourns Ex-PDP Chairman Dr Bamanga Tukur

On 12 September 2026, Orji Uzor Kalu, the Senator representing Abia North, expressed his condolences following the death of Dr Bamanga Muhammad Tukur, the former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Kalu characterized Tukur as an accomplished businessman and seasoned public administrator, whose contributions to Nigeria's economic, political, and maritime development would be remembered for generations.
