Kano ADC Candidate Urges Voter Registration Ahead of 2027

Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, the governorship candidate for the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) in Kano State, has called on eligible Nigerians, especially youth and women, to register with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). He emphasized the importance of using the newly launched online registration portal, which allows first-time voters to complete their registration from home, thus removing barriers such as long queues.

Gwarzo's statement, conveyed through his spokesperson Ibrahim Garba Shuaibu, highlighted that the deadline for registration is July 24, 2026. He urged citizens to take advantage of this opportunity to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and participate in the upcoming 2027 elections.

Gwarzo stressed that voting is a powerful tool for bringing positive change to families and communities in Kano State, and he encouraged all eligible Nigerians to register and vote peacefully.
