Kano Governor Yusuf Backs Tinubu's 2027 Nomination Bid

Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the successful submission of his nomination form to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the 2027 presidential election. The congratulatory message was issued through a statement by the governor's spokesman, Sunusi Dawakintofa, on Friday.

Governor Yusuf called on Nigerians across political, ethnic, and religious divides to support President Tinubu's bid for a second term in office, emphasizing the need to sustain the current momentum of economic development and national reform. This call came shortly after the submission of the nomination form at the Ladi Kwali Hall in Abuja, where Tinubu was represented by his Special Adviser on Political Matters, Ibrahim Kabir Masari.

The governor expressed confidence that President Tinubu's renewed mandate would consolidate ongoing reforms and accelerate the country's development. He also commended Vice President Kashim Shettima for his leadership and the commitment of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to ensure a peaceful, transparent, and credible electoral process.
