Hisbah Detains TikToker Ukasha for Obscene Video Content

Hisbah arrested 27-year-old TikToker Ukasha in Kano after intelligence indicated his presence in the area. Dr. Mujahid Aminuddeen, Deputy Commander General of Hisbah, confirmed the arrest, stating that Ukasha is in custody while investigations are ongoing.

During interrogation, Ukasha, a native of Gusau in Zamfara state and resident of Abuja, admitted he could not recall the number of videos he had produced featuring women, which included scenes of dancing, hugging, and bathing. Some of his videos attracted between one and three million views.

He mentioned that women approached him for collaboration due to his status as a content creator. Ukasha expressed that he is considering quitting such content as he prepares for marriage and apologized for his actions, pledging not to repeat them.

His TikTok account, UK INTERNATIONAL, has over 262,000 followers and 2.4 million likes. Dr. Mujahid stated that Ukasha would be charged in court following the conclusion of investigations and warned youths against using TikTok for immoral activities.
