APC Submits Final Candidate List to INEC for Elections

The All Progressives Congress (APC) submitted its final list of candidates to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) portal, following the approval of the list by the party's National Working Committee (NWC). This submission aligns with the Electoral Act and INEC regulations.

The letter, dated June 29 and signed by APC National Chairman Prof. Nentaw Yilwatda, confirms candidates for various senatorial and House of Representatives positions, including Sundai Karimi for Kogi West, Paul Ikonne for Abia South, and Emmanuel Udende for Benue North East, among others.

Additionally, candidates from Oyo State, such as Yenu Akintund for Oyo Central and Remi Oseni for Oyo South, received their nomination documents in Abuja. Despite the progress, there are ongoing grievances from aspirants in Ondo State who allege irregularities in the primary elections, prompting calls for the party leadership to address these concerns.
